Did anyone else grow up with childcraft books? They were reference books, with series of essays and stories on different themes. I read them voraciously. Ours looked like these:
Of course, there were certain volumes that I loved most dearly, and that I am certain have shaped my interests ever since.
My favorites were: The Puzzle Book (1982 yearbook - included riddles! - I think I memorized whole sections), Holidays and Customs, About Me (human biology), Children Everywhere, and How Things Work.
